This unit has two outputs Light and No Light. This is a custom unit and generic product label. Many controllers rely on a light sensor to know when the lights are on and off, the Growtronix system is aware of this automatically and doesn't require a light detector for most controls. However this sensor is handy for detecting a light which has been left on when the area is supposed to be dark. Many growers turn off HID lighting and turn on a smaller light to more comfortably work in the area. For most it's just a matter of time before the smaller work light gets left on. In this case the light detector can be setup to send a text message if light is detected during the lights off/dark period.
