Common Uses and Scenarios

Scenario #1 One of the most important features of having your grow computer controlled is that it can contact you anytime you tell it too! Imagine this senerio: You pack your bags and get ready to head out of town. You top up your reservoir and make sure all the door are locked and secure. Knowing that your leaving the little ones in a vulnerable posistion. What if a fan doesnt come on and the plants fry? what if it runs out of water? What if someone breaks in and steal my precious indoor rose garden? You know when leaving that the humidity is going to go sky high because every morning you have to change the setting on the fan. and turn on the de-humidifier. During the whole trip you secretly worry about the well being of your plants anxiously waiting to get back to them. As you pull up to the house you hope its still there. What a great trip, now your plants have powedery mildew because of enviromental swings in temp and humidity, but the theives will deal with it cause your whole crop is gone! Now for your trip with Growtronix's running the show. You pack your bags and set your Growtronix system to monitor and maintain the grow. During this time the humidty and temperture are all kept within 2 degrees of your preset levels. During the night time the system allows the room to get a few degree's cooler, all according to your programmed schedule. You setup the system to text message your cellphone with "All systems Go" once an hour. Ahhhhh every hour you get your message. You know the reservoir is being filled and that if anyone were to enter the room the door sensor would immediately send you a text message. Or if they entered the room your motion detector would again textmessage you with "Motion Detected - Possible Intruder". Luckly you havent got that message and you know all is well. You enjoy your trip and even decide to stay an extra day. After all you got growtronix running your show.

Scenario #2 With Growtronix: You have your system completely dialed in, and you have many safe gaurds in place. During the light cycle you maintain the temperture at 78F degrees. You have a temperature sensor inside the growroom and one outside to monitor the outdoor temps. You have programmed the software to only turn on the air conditioner and control co2 levels if the outside temperatures are above 55F degrees. If the temperature is below this you use cheap and effecient intake and exhaust fans. During the night cycle if temperature goes below your set level of 68F degrees the system will turn on your space heater until the desired temperature is reached. The humidity is controlled as well with a dehumidifier or a fogger. You have many safe gaurds in action. If the temperature goes beyond a set point it turns off the lights until temperature are within an acceptable range. If a flood is detected a message is sent to you and the pump is turned off. All these safe gaurds in place can save you $$$. (The system should never be used as a life saving devise or as a failsafe alarm) Without Growtronix: You have hundreds if not thousands of dollars of timers, humidistats, and other automated devices. All needed to provide the perfect enviroment needed for optimal growth. All (most) of which can't contact you on your cellphone if something goes wrong.
